Sea Shepherd is Putting on a Show

Months of hard work will culminate this Thursday night in lower Manhattan. Sea Shepherd NYC is holding Waves of Change, an art show to benefit the organization’s efforts. Join on-shore crew members on June 27, 2013 at the Hasted Kraeutler Gallery, 537 West 24th Street in New York City.

Artwork has been donated from Antarctic crew member Georgie Dicks, talented tattoo artist James Spooner, award-winning photographer and center of the new film The Ghosts In Our Machine Jo-Anne McArthur, and illustrator Sue Coe, among others. Click to preview some of the art from the show. (Personally, I love the work from Dun-Well Doughnuts co-owner Dan Dunbar, Exsanguinate.) Some, if not all, of the pieces will be available for auction.

Tickets for the event are $20 and can be purchased at www.seashepherd.org/nyc. Appetizers featuring seasonal vegetables prepared by Chickpea & Olive.
