Typically, I consider myself a fruit purest; loving fruit in its whole form. However, I ate in moderation. So smoothies were a big no no. All those calories packed into a likely quick consumed liquid, ugh, the thought. Since my friend Lo Vee, over at Vegan Radio, did a one month stint as a fruitarian, though, I grew a little less fearful of fruits. Coupled with reading Kathy Freston and Rich Roll, I’ve come to embrace fruity beverages.
