Attention sports fan! If you’ve been so looking forward to tomorrow’s game that you’ve totally forgotten about food, worry not. A quick stop at the supermarket will set you up right. Some suggestions for shopping efficiently for a little to no fuss veg*n Super Bowl party.

  • Chips: These varities are on PETA’s Accidentally Vegan List (These should be available at all mainstream supermarkets)

Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili Flavored Tortilla Chips
Herr’s Salsa and Lime Tortilla Chips
Kettle Brand Potato Chips Sea Salt & Vinegar

  • Ritz Regular Crackers with Galaxy Foods Vegan Sour Cream and Chive Cream Cheese (You’ll likely have to stop at a Whole Foods for this; go to the Galaxy Foods website for a coupon)
  • Mini Pizzas: Daiya Cheese (or a block of any vegan cheese that you can grate down; I like Vegan Gourmet), Pizza Sauce (Don Pepino is my favorite), and English Muffins (be sure to check the ingredients)
  • Veggie Patch Mini Corn Dogs (These contain eggs; Morningstar Farms also offer corn dogs that contain eggs and dairy)
  • Nachos: Tortilla Chips, Amy’s Vegan Chili, Daiya Cheese, and Banana or Jalapeno Peppers
  • Beans and Franks: Bush’s Vegetarian Baked Beans (While I see nothing in them that makes them not vegan, try Amy’s brand to be certain) Lightlife Smart Dogs (Inexpensive and vegan certified).
