Friday night I found myself above Union Square. Lugging around my gym clothes, I realized I needed sustenance if I was going to hit the treadmill. The debate was go back to Whole Foods at Union Square, where I’ve been time and time again or venture new territory. Onward I went.
A coworker actually suggested Terri for my birthday dinner back in August. I passed it over cause it seemed really too casual to introduce my coworkers to veg fare…and it is, but when you’re a veg*n looking for a quick, creative, satisfying, no-questions-to-ask bite to eat, this is a good choice.
I took the above to send to my sister and ask if she wanted any sweets, but it turned out to be one of the only pictures I took. (Scatter-brained) The desserts look, and are, delicious. All made in house.
- Bacon Cheddar Chicken Ranch Sandwich – this isn’t a huge sandwich, but it is very filling…I really loved the way the ranch and cheddar mix…not the biggest fan of the bacon; as with some other places I’ve been to, it’s just kind of there.
- Apple Spice Donut – baked not fried, this is a dangerous treat…nom nom nom…gone.
- PB cookie – I stole a little (ok, half) of this honker from my sister…think Subway’s cookies…soft.
Conveniently located near the 1, 2, F, M, N, and R. Be sure to check in on Foursquare…wink.
