UPDATE: This session has been tentatively postponed to April 24th, 2012.

Today is the first day of spring. Sorry to any snow bunnies sad to see the cold go bye-bye. Bring on the foliage, seasonal berries, and breezy clothing. Enjoying the natural world is a treat scientists are concerned future generations may not have. Brendan Brazier will be having his second video lecture/chat tonight at 9pm EST through the educational platform Learn It Live: How to Significantly Reduce your Carbon Footprint by Informed Food Choices. After years benefiting personally from a vegan diet, Brendan began learning about the positive impact a plant-based diet can have on the environment, as well as the negative impact of factory farming animals.

Brazier is one person who knows a thing or two about nutrition and athletic performance. He is the formulator of the nutrient supplement series, Vega. All vegan, the Vega line of powders and bars are by no means cheap. In interviews, Brendan appears conscious that some might not need to or may be priced out of purchasing his products and supplements those consumers, as well as those new to his Thrive lifestyle, with free educational videos.

In these,  like his Thrive In 30, he shares basic nutrition information and tips on making positive changes that can increase daily energy, improve sleep, and decrease risks for illness. Tune in tonight, as well as checking out the recording of last month’s session: Plant-Based Performance Nutrition: How to unlock your mental and physical potential through food.
